Clean the inside and outside of your refrigerator regularly. This will help prevent the growth of bacteria and bad odors. You can use a solution of water and vinegar or a mild cleaner to remove stains and dirt. Organize the food properly: Place foods that are more prone to spoilage in the vegetable drawer, which tends to have a cooler temperature. Also, make sure to cover the food and not overload the refrigerator, so that air can circulate freely. Don't leave the door open for too long: Every time you open the refrigerator door, the temperature increases and the accumulated cold is lost. Try to open it only as needed and close it quickly after removing or placing the food. Avoid placing hot foods in the refrigerator:  Hot foods need to cool down before being placed in the refrigerator, as otherwise they will increase the temperature of the refrigerator and may compromise the quality of the foods already inside. Check the door seal: The door seal is what keeps the cold inside the refrigerator. If it is damaged or worn out, the cold air will escape and the refrigerator will have to work harder to maintain the proper temperature. Place the refrigerator in a cool place: The refrigerator should be kept away from heat sources such as stoves or radiators, as otherwise it will have to work harder to maintain the proper temperature. Defrost the refrigerator regularly: If ice accumulates inside the refrigerator, this can reduce its efficiency and make it work harder. Make sure to disconnect the refrigerator and remove the accumulated ice from time to time.
