ADVANTAGES

Saving space:

this is THE biggest advantage of this type of device. We make the most of our space in height, which is generally more difficult to do in a house or in an apartment.

assembly is much simpler and you can be sure that everything will fit. When you buy a separate washer and dryer, you need to make sure they sit on top of the other because some appliances are incompatible.

THE DISADVANTAGES

A 24 inch stacked washer dryer is ideal for small places and small families. If there are four of you, this probably won't be enough to meet your needs. You will need to opt for a 27 inch stacked washer dryer if you have enough space.

Not designed for small people:

If you're not very tall, you might have a little trouble putting wet laundry in the dryer. You will definitely need help to make this happen. A small bench close at hand would be helpful.

Simplistic design:

Unlike other types of appliances, all-in-one stacked washer-dryers often offer a fairly simplistic design and rather limited options.
