In this article we are going to explain how you can safely clean your ceramic cooktop stove.

We use this appliance, as a rule, almost every day, from boiling a pot of coffee, or a kettle, to frying different dishes in a pan. Its versatility means that hardly a single day goes by without it being used, and therefore, it is also one of the appliances most susceptible to staining.

An important aspect to keep in mind is that not all products are suitable for cleaning the glass. There are products that are abrasive, such as scouring pads, which will scratch the surface of the ceramic cooktop.

We can start by mixing water and liquid soap in a bucket or container. Use a sponge, which must be previously washed repeatedly, and make sure that it does not have any traces of dirt that could damage this appliance.

A recommendation or “tip” is to have a single and exclusive sponge to clean the glass. This way, you will make sure that you have not used it to clean another appliance or a room in the house.

The sponge must be made wet with the mixture of liquid soap and water. If the ceramic cooktop is very dirty, we will notice small particles that are attached to the appliance.
