The temperature of the freezer depends on the food load you have. The freezer is usually in the lower part in combination refrigerators and in the upper part in double-door refrigerators.

• We should not put hot food in the freezer. It is preferable to leave it on the counter to cool down before putting it in the freezer.
• Open the door only when necessary, so that the temperature remains constant.
• Leave enough space in the drawers and avoid filling them to the top.
• Cleaning is required on a regular basis.

If you follow these recommendations, the food placed in your freezer will be kept at the right temperature. In addition, you can save on the electricity bill, since, although the appliance itself allows you to lower the temperature even more, keeping it at the indicated temperature of -18ºC is more than sufficient.
